Data Stadium Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeshi Ishizawa) is collaborating on the 'SIT2026 Soccer Data Ideathon' organized by the SIT2026 Ideathon Executive Committee. This ideathon uses 2025 J.League data and match footage to solicit new research ideas and practical applications for sports data, with themes of 'team strengthening' and 'referee support.' We are collaborating on this ideathon alongside the Japan Professional Football League (Chairman: Yoshikazu Nonomura) by providing event data and tracking data, while the J.League provides match footage, strictly for research purposes. In the sports sector, the importance of data utilization is increasing in various areas such as performance improvement, tactical analysis, player evaluation, and referee support. However, opportunities to use actual footage and data for research and analysis are limited, and collaboration with academic and research fields is an important initiative to expand the potential of sports data. Through our cooperation in this ideathon, we will support the creation of opportunities for sports data utilization in academic and research fields and encourage the proposal of new ideas that contribute to team strengthening and referee support.
