Serendipity Robocross Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President Masanobu Wada, hereinafter "Serendipity Robocross"), a group company of Serendipity Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya City, President and CEO Ari Takeuchi, hereinafter "the Company"), has concluded a sales agency agreement with DOBOT, a Chinese collaborative robot manufacturer, for sales in Japan.

Through this agreement, Serendipity Robocross will begin selling, renting, and providing implementation support for DOBOT's collaborative robots, including the "CRA series," further strengthening the Group's automation support system for the manufacturing industry.

Background of the Agreement

The collaborative robot market is expanding rapidly, but the challenge of selecting "which manufacturer's robot is best suited for our site" remains serious.

Serendipity Robocross has leveraged its "multi-vendor system," which is independent of specific manufacturers, to propose the optimal robot from a neutral standpoint according to the customer's priorities for QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). With the addition of DOBOT's products, which boast high cost competitiveness, the company's ability to propose solutions to customers who particularly value cost performance will be significantly enhanced, and an expansion of order opportunities is expected.

Value Provided by Serendipity Robocross

End-to-end support from concept formulation to implementation and operation

Automation support combining consulting and implementation capabilities, providing consistent services from automation concept formulation, robot and peripheral equipment selection, PoC (Proof of Concept), implementation, to operational improvement after introduction.

Neutral product selection by multi-vendor system

Optimal robots are selected through cross-manufacturer comparison and consideration, according to customer process characteristics and investment conditions.

Quick startup with application-specific semi-packages

By utilizing application-specific packages such as palletizing and machine tending*, introduction man-hours and startup periods are shortened.

*Palletizing: The work of stacking boxes and products on pallets in a predetermined shape.

*Machine tending: The work of setting up and transporting machine tools, including feeding materials into processing machines and removing finished products.

Serendipity Robocross supports highly site-adaptable decision-making through pre-introduction verification by conducting real machine comparisons and PoCs from multiple manufacturers at its "RX Nagoya Labo" opened in Fushimi, Naka-ku, Nagoya City.

In addition, during the introduction consideration phase, free factory diagnostics are conducted to support everything from organizing on-site issues to formulating automation concepts.

The company aims to create continuous revenue opportunities by building long-term relationships that extend beyond initial introduction to process expansion, additional introductions, rentals, and peripheral services. → Click here for disclosure about RX Nagoya Labo
