Novelization of 'Anohoshi: I Wish to Meet You Again on the Hill Where Stars Fall' by Original Author Kaeko Shioimi to Be Released on June 17 (Wed)

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Iwao Sekine) announces the release of the novelization of the live-action film 'Anohoshi: I Wish to Meet You Again on the Hill Where Stars Fall,' set for nationwide theatrical release on August 7 (Fri), 2025. The novel will be available starting June 17 (Wed).

'Anohoshi: I Wish to Meet You Again on the Hill Where Stars Fall' is the sequel and concluding chapter to the 2023 live-action film 'Anohana: We Saw a Flower on the Hill,' which surpassed 4.5 billion yen in box office revenue and became a social phenomenon. This novelization is written by Kaeko Shioimi, the original author whose series has exceeded 1.8 million copies in cumulative circulation.

Ahead of the Film Release! Series Titles Reprinted with Special Movie Edition Bands

Seven years after parting with Sho (Koji Minami), who vanished into the sky, Yuriko (Haruka Fukuhara), now a high school teacher—Sho’s dream—lives a busy life, yet her feelings for Sho remain frozen in time on the 1945 hill where lilies bloom. Into her life steps Ryo (Kota Yoshida), a young man who bears a striking resemblance to Sho, who joins her class as a temporary homeroom assistant.
