Diamond Pebbles

In this interpretation, the Ladybird Colors draws closer to the language of high jewelry. Light is expressed as a single, uninterrupted surface across the watch, and the diamonds appear like soft, rounded pebbles that naturally conform to the wrist. Each piece is set with 919 diamonds, totaling 4.794 carats, scattered across the case, bezel, dial, and buckle. The crown is adorned with a rose-cut diamond, featuring an antique cut characterized by a flat base and a dome composed of triangular facets. Snow-setting plays a crucial role at the heart of this composition. One of the most difficult techniques in jewelry making, it involves selecting hundreds of diamonds of various sizes and placing them to look naturally arranged. In practice, every stone is placed with extreme precision to eliminate visible metal surfaces. The result recalls sunlight reflecting off snow, emitting a diffuse, vibrant brilliance that is never uniform.

Unparalleled Dial

On the mother-of-pearl dial at the center of the watch, you can see delicate and rich decoration. Its reflections change with the light, showing green and pink tones that are characteristic of the Ladybird Colors collection. This special mother-of-pearl is of very high quality, featuring a fine, granular surface naturally formed over time. Nacre pearl is extremely rare. Meticulously extracted from specific cultured shells, each shell can make only one, or at most two, dials. Taken from the most curved center of the shell, those that yield a disc larger than 28mm in diameter are exceptional. This accounts for less than 2% of the total available mother-of-pearl, with the remainder used for less selective applications.
