Call for Participants: China AI Inspection Program at World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026)

The world-renowned AI event, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026), will be held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20 this year. WAIC serves as an international platform that showcases the forefront of global AI technology, industry, and governance through forums, exhibitions, awards and competitions, application experiences, innovation incubation, and talent exchanges.

Jianxin (Shokushin) has designed a comprehensive program that combines exhibition tours with on-site expert commentary and visits to local AI companies in China. We support efficient, practical learning through 'seeing, hearing, and experiencing' AI advancements firsthand. We welcome your participation.

Program Features

1. Guided Tour of WAIC 2026 with Japanese Commentary

*To be conducted on July 19 (Sun)

Jianxin will arrange experienced on-site guides who have conducted prior site inspections to provide detailed commentary on key highlights at WAIC. Commentary will be delivered via dedicated wireless earphones. On the day, several bilingual staff members will accompany the group to facilitate communication and interaction with company representatives, ensuring a rich and informative exhibition experience.

2. Visits to AI Companies & Real-World AI Experiences in the City

*To be conducted on July 20 (Mon)

Participants will visit and engage with 2–3 leading Chinese AI companies at the forefront of AI technology, while also experiencing real-world AI implementations in urban settings to deepen understanding of AI adoption in China.

Potential visiting companies include SenseTime (Shangtang Technology), a leader in image recognition AI, and Tencent (Tencent Holdings), a major internet company with extensive AI solutions.

For AI experiences, participants will observe and interact with AI applications currently deployed in public spaces and city infrastructure.

3. Delivery of the WAIC 2026 Report

Electronic version of the WAIC 2026 Report will be provided one month after the exhibition.
