SUNTORY FROM FARM Tomi Koshu 2024 and Tomi Red 2023 Win Gold Medals at International Wine Challenge 2026

Suntory's Japanese wines, 'SUNTORY FROM FARM Tomi Koshu 2024' and 'Tomi Red 2023,' have been awarded Gold Medals at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2026. Furthermore, 'Iwadarehara Merlot 2023,' 'THE Koshu 2024,' 'Tomi-no-Oka Koshu 2024,' and 'Tsugaru Chardonnay & Pinot Noir Sparkling 2021' received Silver Medals.

The IWC, launched in 1984, is one of the most influential wine competitions in the world. This is the first time in the company's history that both red and white wines from its flagship 'Tomi' label have simultaneously won Gold Medals.

About 'SUNTORY FROM FARM Tomi Koshu 2024': At Tomi-no-Oka Winery, we aim to create wines from the native Japanese grape variety 'Koshu' that can move the world. Efforts include planting grapevines capable of intense fruit concentration, meticulous cultivation management, and careful monitoring of maturity levels.

This wine is characterized by aromas reminiscent of ripe citrus and apples, offering a refined experience with a dense texture and delicate, lingering umami.

About 'Tomi Red 2023': We focused on expressing the character of 'Tomi Red' by leveraging the overwhelming power and concentration of 'Petit Verdot.'

From the moment it is poured, aromas reminiscent of ripe cassis and dark cherry harmonize beautifully with barrel-derived notes. It is a full-bodied wine featuring high density and a long finish.
