Sapporo Lion Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Tazawa), a group company of Sapporo Holdings, will hold a limited-time event from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, 2026, at the restaurant building 'Shinjuku Lion Kaikan,' which will celebrate its 87th anniversary on April 17, to express gratitude for long-standing patronage.

'Shinjuku Lion Kaikan' Has Continuously Evolved and Challenged with the Times

'Shinjuku Lion Kaikan' is a restaurant building located on the east side of Shinjuku Station, where all floors from the basement to the 6th floor are eateries. Alongside Ginza, it serves as a base for Sapporo Lion to disseminate beer hall culture. Since opening the 'Shinjuku Beer Hall' at this location on April 17, 1939, it has continued to operate by changing the business format and interior of each floor according to the times, and will celebrate its 87th anniversary on Friday, April 17 this year.
