Konica Minolta Planetarium Unveils Trailer and Ticket Info for New Show Featuring BUMP OF CHICKEN's Music to Explore the World of Meteor Showers

Konica Minolta Planetarium Co., Ltd. (President: Yumiko Moto) has released a preview trailer for its new program, 'Searching for Shooting Stars feat. BUMP OF CHICKEN,' which will begin on Friday, July 3, 2026, at all five 'Konica Minolta Planetarium' entertainment facilities (Yurakucho, Ikebukuro, Oshiage, Yokohama, Nagoya).

The trailer for 'Searching for Shooting Stars feat. BUMP OF CHICKEN' combines the music of BUMP OF CHICKEN with narration by Daiki Yamashita, offering a glimpse into the work's worldview and the charm of the starry sky depicted by shooting stars.

Tickets go on sale starting Thursday, June 25.
Due to the strong response on social media, tickets for screenings from Friday, July 3, 2026, to Friday, July 31, 2026, will be sold all at once, exclusively for online purchase. Information regarding ticket sales for August and beyond will be announced at a later date.

For screenings from July 3 to July 31, 2026: Sales will begin at 14:00 on Thursday, June 25.

Details regarding official merchandise for 'Searching for Shooting Stars feat. BUMP OF CHICKEN,' including the product lineup and sales methods, are scheduled to be announced on Wednesday, June 24.
On-site merchandise sales will be available only to customers who hold a ticket for the show on the day of their visit.

Furthermore, to purchase merchandise at Planetarium Tenku (Oshiage), a timed merchandise purchase ticket will be required in addition to the same-day admission ticket. These timed tickets are scheduled to be distributed starting when the facility opens. Due to limited sales and waiting space in the on-site shop, this sales method is being implemented to ensure safety and reduce congestion. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The same products sold at the venues are also scheduled to be available via mail order from the BUMP OF CHICKEN SHOP starting Tuesday, June 30. Customers wishing to purchase official merchandise are encouraged to consider using the mail-order service.

Music: BUMP OF CHICKEN
A four-member rock band from Sakura, Chiba. (Vo./Gt.: Motoo Fujiwara, Gt.: Hiroaki Masukawa, Ba.: Yoshifumi Naoi, Dr.: Hideo Masu). Formed on February 11, 1996, they made their major debut in September 2000 with the single 'Diamond.' They gained widespread fame with 'Tentai Kansoku' and have continued to produce numerous hits. In 2024, they released their 10th album 'Iris' and held an arena and dome tour that attracted a total of 500,000 people. In 2026, they will celebrate their 30th anniversary and will hold a nationwide tour, 'BUMP OF CHICKEN TOUR 2026-2027 Ratio Clavis,' starting in October.

Narration: Daiki Yamashita
Born September 7 in Shizuoka Prefecture. He debuted as a voice actor in 2012 and won the Best New Actor Award at the 8th Seiyu Awards in 2014. He has played leading roles in popular works such as 'Yowamushi Pedal,' 'My Hero Academia,' and 'Pokémon.'
Other notable appearances include 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind,' 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,' and 'Shabake.'

This work carefully layers the sounds of wind, air, and ambient environmental noises to create a sense of realism, as if you were actually looking up at the starry sky outdoors. Enjoy the experience of becoming one with the night sky in a space that envelops you in sound.
