Quest Global and Renesas Co-Host 'Future Global Engineers Event' for International School Students

June 18, 2026, Tokyo – Quest Global Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Quest Global”), the Japanese subsidiary of Quest Global, one of the world’s largest independent engineering services companies, partnered with Renesas Electronics Corporation (hereinafter “Renesas”), a leading supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, to host the 'Future Global Engineers Event' on June 16 at Renesas’ Musashi site in Tokyo. The event welcomed 60 students from international schools in Tokyo, offering them deep insights into the semiconductor industry and hands-on experiences with cutting-edge AI technologies.

The full-day event was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial applications. Participants first explored the 'Innovation Showcase,' which highlighted the latest trends in semiconductor and AI technologies, followed by interactive discussions with experienced Renesas engineers actively working in the field.

During the experiential workshop, students used Renesas evaluation kits (RA8D1 MCU Group Evaluation Kit) to develop their own sample AI applications. By working with actual hardware, they gained firsthand experience in the fundamental processes of AI-powered solution development. The day concluded with a career talk and Q&A session led by Quest Global, providing insights into potential career paths within the semiconductor industry.

At the opening of the event, Gaurang Shah, Vice President and General Manager of the Embedded Processing Business Unit at Renesas Electronics, delivered a keynote address. He spoke to the next-generation students about the transformative impact of semiconductors and AI on future society, and shared Renesas’ vision for a smarter, more connected world.
