ETRO announces the new campaign visuals and full lineup of its capsule collection 'ETRO per Kaito Takahashi' with global brand ambassador Kaito Takahashi.
This collection emerges from a dialogue between Takahashi's artistic sensibility and ETRO's heritage. Two paisley motifs inspired by the ebb and flow of waves and the form of tears permeate the entire collection, offering a fresh interpretation of the maison's signature pattern.
The visual narrative captures a gaze toward beauty that is fluid and constantly evolving. This concept resonates with the philosophy of ukiyo-e, one of Takahashi's key inspirations. Like waves, each moment holds its own unique contour while existing within an endless flow of change. Beauty is not fixed—it breathes, flows, and continuously transforms. 'ETRO per Kaito Takahashi' becomes a vessel for these fleeting moments, capturing their movement, evolution, and poetic presence.
Kaito Takahashi appears as a traveler through this world, moving in harmony with the landscape and tracing the transient beauty of each moment alongside his own illustrated paisley patterns.
A mirrored cube placed within natural scenery reflects its surroundings while seamlessly blending into the environment without asserting its presence. It creates a dialogue with nature and highlights both the collection and the landscape itself.

Full 32-Item Lineup
The striped silk shirt, symbolic of the collection, is crafted from upcycled archive fabrics from ETRO. Boldly featuring the 'tear'-inspired paisley motif, it comes in two styles—long sleeve and short sleeve—offered in different colors. The denim jacket and jeans, fully woven with a jacquard 'wave'-inspired paisley motif, are designed to be worn as a set or individually.
ETRO's iconic Arnica bag also gains a new expression through Takahashi's paisley. The crossbody, mini tote, and backpack feature intricate inlay techniques. Small leather goods such as wallets and coin cases carry timeless appeal, with paisley motifs subtly revealed on the interior, adding a touch of playful sophistication.
Additional items include T-shirts, hoodies, scarves, paisley shawls, hooded shawls, charms, earrings, and headbands—32 pieces in total, evoking Takahashi's personal wardrobe.
Each item features the special 'ETRO per Kaito Takahashi' logo and is delivered in a dedicated shopping bag.

'I am deeply honored to realize my second capsule collection, following last year.
· Wave Paisley
When conceptualizing this second collection, ETRO introduced the concept of 'upcycling.' From that word, my imagination led me to the globally renowned Japanese art form—ukiyo-e—and within it, I was drawn to the motif of 'waves.' Waves spiral, undulate, advance and retreat; each single wave is beautiful, and together they infinitely transform in shape. I associate waves with imagery of change, universality, and transience.
Inspired by ETRO's values of 'travel, freedom, and creativity,' as well as the atmosphere of Venice I experienced during my stay last September, I created my own interpretation of waves.
· Tear Paisley
The tear-inspired paisley originates from my personal illustration signature.
Tears are the first action humans make upon birth. They are a physical manifestation of emotion—whether from joy, sorrow, laughter, or deep感动. For this reason, I hold the image of teary eyes as a deeply meaningful motif.
This design embodies the idea that 'everything begins when emotion moves.'
