Getworks and Exeo Group Collaborate on Container-Type Data Center Provision

Exeo G will enhance its container-type menu within its "Exeo Edge Data Center Solution," and together with Getworks, will contribute to the advancement of society and industry by providing a secure data center fabric that integrates a distributed data processing platform with a highly reliable, high-security closed network.

In recent years, the requirements for data processing have changed significantly due to the expanding use of AI and the proliferation of IoT. Companies are increasingly demanding low-latency processing and autonomous management of confidential data, raising the importance of edge data centers that process data near the point of use. In response to these needs, both companies will leverage the characteristics of container-type data centers—short delivery times, low cost, and flexibility—to provide infrastructure that can be quickly deployed regardless of location.

■ Provision of Exeo G's "Exeo Edge Data Center Solution Container Type"

The "Exeo Edge Data Center Solution" offers two menus: "Modular Type (*1)" and "Container Type (*2)." This time, the container data center provided by Getworks has been added to the "Container Type" menu. It utilizes ISO containers, primarily 20-foot units, and is an integrated configuration housing IT equipment, uninterruptible power supplies, and air conditioning systems. These can be connected for easy expansion, allowing deployment according to the scale required by the customer.

Furthermore, the cooling method supports both air cooling and liquid cooling, and it can be installed indoors or outdoors. This enables the construction of a data center environment that meets advanced data processing needs, such as edge AI and real-time control processing, in a short period.

*1: Modular Data Center: Based on a power receiving cubicle, it integrates IT equipment equipped with 19-inch racks and air conditioning (in-row air conditioning), UPS, power receiving, etc., as independent modules, providing the optimal combination of necessary functions. It can satisfy the essential requirements of edge DCs—short delivery, low cost, and flexibility—at a high level.

*2: Container Data Center: Through the deployment and connection configuration of 20-foot and 40-foot sizes, it enables rapid equipment expansion for medium to large-scale data centers, as well as cloud infrastructure expansion and demand fluctuations, with short delivery times and low initial investment.

■ Getworks' Utilization of Exeo G's Construction and Operation Capabilities
