In the "Suzumi Chapel," a refreshing space decorated with greenery and wind chimes, you can spend a relaxing time with a cold drink in hand while reading. In addition, a festival week where you can fully enjoy the summer festival atmosphere will be held, featuring a "Kori Mikuji" (ice fortune telling) game using cubes inspired by "ice," and a "vegetable scooping" game with Munakata-produced vegetables as prizes.

Furthermore, a night pool will be held during the Obon period, along with DJ events and a shaved ice fair. In late August, fireworks will be launched, brilliantly coloring the summer night.

1. "Suzumi Chapel" for a Limited Time, Enveloped in the Sound of Wind Chimes

Enjoy the sound of wind chimes playing with the wind, books related to the local area, and self-service of refreshing drinks.

This summer, the hotel's chapel will be open as a "Suzumi Chapel" for a limited time. Decorated with refreshing elements such as greenery and wind chimes, it creates a visually cool space. Amidst the pleasant sounds of wind chimes and healing music, iced coffee and mint water made with mint grown in-house at the hotel will be served.

The chapel will be stocked with books and photo collections related to Kyushu's history and culture, allowing guests to spend a relaxing time with a cold drink in hand while reading.

An evening to learn about the World Heritage site "Munakata Taisha," located about a 10-minute drive from the hotel, will be held with Mr. Motoyuki Ashizu, Deputy Chief Priest of Munakata Taisha, as the lecturer. Through the faith of the Munakata Sanjojin mentioned in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, the history of maritime transport that supported exchange with the continent, and approximately 80,000 national treasures excavated from Okinoshima, guests can experience the history and culture of Munakata, nurtured by the sea and prayers since ancient times.

A Different Kind of Festival Week Featuring "Vegetable Scooping" and More

In cooperation with JA Munakata, vegetable scooping will be held during the festival week. This is a game where you scoop up seasonal vegetables from Munakata using a ladle. The scooped vegetables can be taken home as they are.

In addition, classic events such as shooting games and "Senbon Tsuri" (a fishing game with many needles) will be held, along with festival foods like "Shaka Shaka Popcorn."
