The production start of the latest installment in the "KING OF PRISM" theatrical anime series, "KING OF PRISM -Tri-Star Act-" (read: Tri-Star Act), was announced today during the special event "KING OF PRISM SUPER LIVE Prism☆Tours!" held at Keio Arena TOKYO. Along with this announcement, a special preview video and teaser visual were also unveiled at the event.

The video opens with Jin Norizuki (CV: Shinichiro Miki), the supreme leader of the elite Prism Star training school "Schwarz Rose," loudly declaring his intention to defeat "Edel Rose," the unit to which Prism Stars like Shin Ichijo (CV: Junta Terashima), known as "SePTENTRION," belong, during the trio competition "PRISM.3."

As talented Prism Star units such as "TRI-UMviratuS," newly formed in the previous film "KING OF PRISM -Your Endless Call- Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours," and "Over The Rainbow" successively announce their participation in the competition, Minato Takaragi's younger brother, Ushi Takaragi, now known as Takanawa Getaway Prince (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi), also declares war with "Let's compete with our wings on! Minato Takaragi!"

Furthermore, Yukinojo Tachibana (CV: Soma Saito), Kakeru Juouin (CV: Taku Yashiro), and Minato Takaragi (CV: Masaru Igarashi), representing "SePTENTRION" in the competition, express their individual feelings, making the video even more intriguing about what will happen next.

The teaser visual features the catchphrase "Their bonds are now being tested --" along with illustrations of Yukinojo, Kakeru, and Minato, drawn by character designer Mai Matsuura. It's an emotional scene depicting the three "older members" of "SePTENTRION," who will be participating in "PPRISM.3" in this installment, chatting at the "Edel Rose" dormitory at dusk.

About "KING OF PRISM"

"KING OF PRISM" is a story about unique boys fascinated by Prism Shows who face various trials and hardships to become "Prism Stars" who can most thrill their audiences. It is a popular theatrical anime series that began with the film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" (released January 9, 2016) as a spin-off of the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live" (aired 2013-2014). The unique viewing style known as "cheering screenings" became a hot topic and sparked the trend of such screenings.

In the latest installment, "KING OF PRISM -Your Endless Call- Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours (Kin-Tsua)," released in theaters nationwide on June 27, 2025 (Fri), "Pretty Boys" from the "Pretty Series" appeared across different titles, showcasing various new Prism Shows by traveling through time and worlds via a time machine. Starting August 22, 2025 (Fri), SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX versions began screening, surpassing a cumulative box office revenue of 1.2 billion yen, setting a new series record for highest box office revenue, and exceeding 600,000 in audience attendance.
