World of Warships x Azur Lane Collaboration: Eighth Wave Implemented!

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, Wargaming announced that its massively popular PC online naval action game 'World of Warships' will be holding its 'Eighth Wave' collaboration event with the popular side-scrolling naval game 'Azur Lane.' This event will run from Thursday, April 30, 2026, to Thursday, June 18, 2026. Players can enjoy a wealth of content, including new Azur Lane-themed ships, skins, commanders, and commemorative flags.

■ Set sail brilliantly with 6 collaboration ships!

This Azur Lane collaboration will feature 6 ships with themed skins. The lineup includes the battleship 'AL Marco Polo,' destroyer 'AL Tashkent,' battleship 'AL Massachusetts,' and aircraft carrier 'AL Shinano.' Additionally, the cruiser 'AL Harbin' and battleship 'AL Richelieu,' popular in 'World of Warships: Legends,' will join, bringing the total to 6 ships. Players can also obtain up to 6 types of Azur Lane commemorative flags corresponding to these ships, allowing them to brilliantly adorn their fleets and sortie into battle.

■ 8 Azur Lane commanders arrive

In conjunction with the new ships, 8 popular Azur Lane characters will appear in the game as commanders. The additions include 'Marco Polo,' 'Tashkent,' 'Massachusetts,' 'Shinano,' 'Tallinn,' 'Harbin,' 'Richelieu,' and 'Asashio.' Each commander will have dedicated voice lines, further enhancing the gaming experience.

To conclude the Eighth Wave, a new Azur Lane collection will be introduced. This collection consists of 20 elements divided into 5 lists. By progressing through the collection, players can unlock 3 types of permanent camouflages. Completing the entire collection will grant players the Azur Lane custom sinking animation and a special skin for the cruiser 'AL Tallinn' and its commander.

This update also adds a new permanent camouflage, 'Azur Lane - Mental Cube,' and permanent camouflages for 'Tallinn' and 'Asashio,' allowing players to further customize their fleets. Furthermore, the contents of the 'Azur Lane: Protectors of the Azure Seas' premium container have been updated, refreshing the items available to players.

'World of Warships' and 'Azur Lane' first collaborated in 2018, introducing 7 commanders: 'Aurora,' 'Belfast,' 'Cleveland,' 'Enterprise,' 'Admiral Hipper,' 'Hood,' and 'Nelson.' Over the subsequent 8 years, 7 additional collaborations have taken place, expanding Azur Lane's presence in 'World of Warships' to over 35 commanders, 15 ships, and 20 types of skins.
