Ad-Virtua Inc. (Kita Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Setaro Mizuno) will hold the interactive indie game exhibition event "The Room You Can't Leave Unless You Debug" (Abbreviation: Debug Room) on July 26, 2026 (Sun).

This event is a participatory game exhibition where visitors aim to "escape" by playing unfinished or developing indie games and reporting bugs and gameplay impressions on the spot. Entry is free with pre-registration.

Background: An Initiative to Foster a Soil Where Game Developers and Players Grow Titles Together

The game industry is more vibrant than ever due to the expansion of indie development and the spread of distribution culture. In overseas game communities, there is a thriving culture of developers and players energizing the community together and refining titles collaboratively.

In Japan, however, a culture where developers and players unite to create a community and improve titles together is not deeply rooted.

This event aims to provide a space where game players themselves can participate in the "process of nurturing a game" by exhibiting games in their development stages, including bugs and areas for improvement. We aim to foster active communication between developers and players through bug reports and suggestions for improvement.

By collecting a certain number of "Debug Seals" based on their reports, participants can "escape" the former school building. This experience might lead to your feedback being reflected in the final product released later.

2. Limited Sticker Distribution Based on Debugging and Feedback Count

Participants who successfully "escape" the former school building will receive a venue-exclusive sticker designed by illustrator "Tsuchinoko Kizuchi." A rare, limited-edition sticker will be distributed to those who collect many "Debug Seals."

Approximately 20 booths are planned to exhibit indie games, focusing on pre-release and in-development titles. Visitors can get an early play of games that have not yet been released and titles that are on their way to completion.
