ART CRAYON releases 25-color set and colorless blender co-developed with Shibasaki

Astrum Co., Ltd. (President: Junichi Ishigaki, Tokyo) will release the Pentel 'ART CRAYON' 25-color set and 9 new colors, including a colorless blender, starting June 5, 2026, nationwide.

Co-developed with painter and YouTuber Harumichi Shibasaki (2.13 million subscribers as of May 2026), ART CRAYON enables oil painting-like expressions with crayon simplicity. Its soft texture allows stroke control and vivid mixing.

The 9 new additions consist of a colorless blender (for blending, shading, and gloss) and 8 intermediate colors (Lemon Yellow, Deep Orange, Scarlet, Violet, Indian Red, Dark Grey, Light Blue, Cobalt Blue) to enhance natural transitions. The package features a kitten illustration drawn by Shibasaki using the 25 colors.

Astrum will also support art activities by holding the '100 Art Crayon Paintings Exhibition' (entry from July 2026), monthly classes, and workshops with 'artwine.tokyo'.
