Your Photo Becomes a Local Story Illuminating Someone's Future

We are recruiting volunteer "Citizen Photographers" who will photograph events held in the city and provide the data. The photos will be published in printed materials such as the city newsletter, on the city's website, and on social media.

In fiscal year 2026, a photo exhibition of works by Citizen Photographers is planned.

Intensified Recruitment Period:
Until Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Appointment Period:
From April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027

Eligibility:
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

・Residents of the city aged 20 or older.
・Must be able to prepare the necessary equipment for digital photography.
・Must be able to participate in activities on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
(Note) Participation is possible on dates that are convenient for you.

Application Method:
Submit an application form with several of your own data files attached, either in person, by mail, or by email.

Background:
Citizen Photographers began participating in July 2013 to promote citizen participation in town development and to liven up city events from a citizen's perspective.
