Ieiroha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, President and CEO: Koichiro Shiragami, hereinafter "Ieiroha"), which operates the portal sites "Yaneiroha" and "Kabeiroha" connecting roofing/exterior wall contractors with end-users, announced that it signed an agreement with Miyota Town, Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture (Mayor: Takashi Sonozaki, hereinafter "Miyota Town") on June 23, 2026 (Tuesday) concerning emergency restoration support for building exteriors during disasters. This marks the 7th municipality nationwide to sign such an agreement and the first disaster prevention agreement signed in Nagano Prefecture.

This agreement establishes a framework for providing prompt and smooth restoration support for building exteriors, such as roofs and exterior walls, with the aim of achieving the early reconstruction of town residents' lives when a large-scale disaster occurs within Miyota Town. In the event of a large-scale disaster where requests numbering hundreds to over a thousand overwhelm the capacity of local contractors, Ieiroha will leverage its nationwide network of roofing and exterior wall contractors and its expertise cultivated through operating its portal sites to provide phased support, from setting up consultation desks to emergency response and full-scale restoration. When necessary, Ieiroha will provide identification items such as armbands issued by Miyota Town to the dispatched contractors, thereby establishing a system that allows town residents to proceed with peace of mind.
Ieiroha will support Miyota Town's recovery efforts by enabling accurate emergency response and swift matching with specialized contractors for construction, contributing to the speedy return of disaster victims to their normal lives.
Background of the Agreement Signing
In recent years, large-scale disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and heavy rains have occurred frequently across Japan, leading to a surge in damage to exterior parts of houses, including roofs and exterior walls. Consequently, repair demand has increased several times over compared to normal times, and it has become a challenge in many areas that local contractors alone cannot handle the workload.
Furthermore, damaged buildings in disaster situations experience greater stress than those undergoing normal renovation work, requiring even higher technical skills and prompt responses. Therefore, securing high-quality specialized technicians and establishing a robust response system are becoming increasingly important.
Against this backdrop, Ieiroha Co., Ltd., with its nationwide network of roofing and exterior wall contractors, has leveraged its experience in a wide-area disaster recovery scheme across Japan with a major insurance company, JRD, which began in 2022. Following discussions with Miyota Town, this agreement has been concluded.
Main Contents of the Agreement
・ Agreement on requests for mutual support during disaster 발생
・ Establishment of a consultation service for residents regarding exterior restoration
・ Implementation of emergency temporary repairs (e.g., blue sheet covering)
・ Dispatch of contractors responsible for full-scale repair work (e.g., roof tile and exterior wall repair), who will wear identification issued by Miyota Town during recovery work
・ Prioritization of utilizing local contractors, with an emphasis on collaboration and coordination with industry organizations
・ Awareness raising from normal times through disaster prevention seminars and information provision for residents
Flowchart for the Agreement
【In Case of Large-Scale Disaster】
*Flexible response will be made, not limited to the communication flow chart below.
During disasters, repair requests to local contractors become temporarily concentrated, making the establishment of a cooperative system between the private sector and local governments an urgent issue. Ieiroha Co., Ltd. will construct a system capable of providing consistent support from immediately after a disaster to full-scale recovery, utilizing the matching functions cultivated through its business and its connections with specialized contractors in each region. Together with Miyota Town, we will work on disaster recovery to help residents regain their daily lives with peace of mind.
Going forward, Ieiroha will continue to deepen its collaboration with local governments and society, expanding its disaster prevention network nationwide to protect "peace of mind in housing."
