Aichi and Gifu Local Sake Event “SAKAE SAKE SQUARE 2026” to Be Held in Nagoya’s Sakae from July 18 to 20

Gifu Prefecture will be represented by 26 breweries. Gifu’s sake is brewed with clear underground water fed by snowmelt from the Northern Alps, Mount Ibuki, and Mount Ena. Participating breweries include Adachi Shuzojo, Iwamura Jozo, Otsuka Shuzo, Gyokusendo Shuzo, Kuramoto Yamada, Kosaka Shuzojo, Komachi Shuzo, Takeuchi Shuzo, Chigonoiwa Shuzo, Chiyogiku, Tenryo Shuzo, Nakashima Jozo, Hazama Shuzo, Hanazakari Shuzo, Hayashi Shuzo, Hirata Shuzojo, Hirano Jozo, Funasaka Shuzo, Heiwanishiki Shuzo, Michisakari, Miyozakura Jozo, Miwa Shuzo, Yamauchi Shuzo, Wakaba, Watanabe Shuzo Jo, and Watanabe Shuzoten. To participate, visitors must purchase a Starter Set. The Starter Set includes 10 food and drink coins, an original sake cup, and a wristband. Coins can be exchanged for sake and food, and side dishes and soft drinks must also be purchased with coins. Advance tickets are available through play guide services. Same-day Starter Set tickets will cost 3,600 yen and will be sold through the app and at the venue only if capacity allows. Additional coins will be sold at the venue for 200 yen each.
