SaaS SCM System "PlanNEL" Obtains ISO/IEC 27701 International Certification for Privacy Information Management

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Reiko Fujiwara; hereinafter, Zionex) is pleased to announce that its SaaS SCM system "PlanNEL" has obtained "ISO/IEC 27701" certification, an international standard for privacy information management, from Korea Management Registrar Inc. (KMR).

Background and Purpose of Obtaining "ISO/IEC 27701" Certification

"ISO/IEC 27701" is an international standard that specifies requirements and guidelines for personal information protection. Positioned as an extension to the conventional information security management system "ISO/IEC 27001," it serves as an indicator that an organization has appropriate management systems and operational processes for personal information protection.

Zionex has been working to strengthen its management system by obtaining certifications for information security management "ISO/IEC 27001" and cloud security "ISO/IEC 27017." With the newly acquired "ISO/IEC 27701" certification, we have further strengthened the personal information protection system for the provision of PlanNEL.
