NPO ZESDA (Representative Director: Daisuke Sakuraba, Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and the Society of Research and Innovation will hold the "Produce Talent Development Course vol.16: Injecting Conservative Company Assets into Startups! ~Production Examples and Know-how~" on Tuesday, April 21st. This time, we have invited Mr. Kazuhiro Hasegawa, Executive Officer of Leave a Nest Co., Ltd., as a guest speaker to lecture on production methods and examples of strategically injecting diverse assets of conservative companies (existing large companies) into startups.

■ Overcoming Differences in Organizational Culture to Create Business

Mr. Hasegawa will explain with specific examples how he has transformed the tangible and intangible assets of existing companies, such as R&D capabilities, customer base, brand power, human resources, funding, and demonstration fields, into growth engines for startups. Going beyond a mere matching or open innovation framework, he plans to share the "design philosophy of production" and practical know-how to overcome differences in organizational culture between the two parties and bring it to fruition as business creation.

In addition to success stories, we will delve into the walls faced during the promotion process, the consensus-building process, and the structural challenges leading up to scaling, providing content from which participants can gain insights applicable to their own organizations.

After the lecture, there will be time for Q&A and discussion to deepen the debate on concrete collaboration possibilities from the perspectives of both companies and startups.
