Zetaria Launches Limited-Time 'Unadon Burger' – A Surprising Fusion of Eel Bowl and Burger for the Summer Doyo no Ushi Day

Zetaria, a hamburger shop operated by Burger One Co., Ltd. (President: Daisi Kimura, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), will once again offer its highly acclaimed 'Unadon Burger' for a limited period starting Wednesday, July 22.

Since last year, Zetaria has introduced the 'Unadon Burger' as a new, affordable proposal for Doyo no Ushi no Hi (the traditional Japanese Day of the Ox), priced under 1,000 yen. This year, the company has increased production to allow even more customers to enjoy this unique menu item.

The 'Unadon Burger' is a Japanese-style burger that perfectly recreates the unadon (grilled eel over rice) experience. It features grilled eel kabayaki, a 100% domestically sourced rice patty, a creamy semi-cooked egg, signature teriyaki sauce, and lettuce, all sandwiched in a soft and chewy bun.

Zetaria's eel is grilled three times with sauce, resulting in a richly flavored, tender, and aromatic kabayaki. The sweet eel sauce blends harmoniously with the dark soy-based teriyaki sauce and the creamy egg, delivering a deep, savory taste with every bite.

The 100% domestic rice patty is brushed with soy sauce before grilling, giving it a fragrant aroma and a satisfyingly chewy texture. Customers can enhance the experience by adding the included sansho pepper for an authentic unadon flavor.
