Nakau Launches "Kishu Nankobai Oroshi Udon" Featuring Rich Kishu Nankobai Plum Flavor for a Refreshing Summer Experience!

Nakau Co., Ltd. will begin selling its "Kishu Nankobai Oroshi Udon" starting May 27th (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM. This refreshing dish, perfect for summer, features a whole large, fleshy Kishu Nankobai plum from Wakayama Prefecture. The plum's natural sweet and sour taste and elegant aroma stimulate the appetite even during hot weather. The plum topping offers a balanced acidity and gentle sweetness, complemented by a refreshing plum sauce and Nakau's special soy sauce, adding depth and sharpness to the flavor. The smooth udon noodles, fresh grated daikon, and the intertwined sauce provide a light and satisfying taste until the last bite. Additionally, the "Katsuobushi Okura Ume Oroshi Udon," topped with bonito flakes and okra, will also be available, offering enhanced flavor and texture. Prices start from 620 yen for the regular "Kishu Nankobai Oroshi Udon" and 720 yen for the large size. The "Katsuobushi Okura Ume Oroshi Udon" is 720 yen for regular and 820 yen for large. All prices include tax. These new items will be available for takeout and are planned to be sold at 446 stores (as of May 20th).
