Kokumin Kyosai Coop (National Federation of Workers' Mutual Aid Cooperatives, Representative Director: Akikazu Uchiya) will once again hold the disaster preparedness festival "Moshimo FES Nagoya 2026" this year, co-hosted with Me-Tele (Nagoya Broadcasting Network Co., Ltd., Representative Director and President: Shinji Shimizu) and supported by Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City, with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of "disaster prevention and mitigation." Through booths where disaster prevention goods can be tested, workshops, and exhibitions of earthquake simulators and fire vehicles, visitors can learn about disaster prevention by seeing, touching, and playing. Furthermore, this year, Sanae Shimazu, a former Me-Tele announcer, has been appointed as the "Moshimo FES Nagoya 2026 Ambassador." On the opening stage, held on both May 16 (Sat) and 17 (Sun), essential daily preparations for people in the three Tokai prefectures will be conveyed.
