ZEN University's ZMC (ZEN Mathematic Center; ZEN Mathematics Center) will hold the midterm presentation of the 'LANA Project,' titled 'LANA Project Interim Report 2026,' on Friday, July 17, 2026, focusing on the computer verification of IUT (Inter-universal Teichmüller) theory.

The LANA Project is an international collaborative research initiative led by ZEN University (Japan), Utrecht University (Netherlands), and the University of Alberta (Canada). Its primary goals are the formalization of anabelian geometry—a key area in arithmetic geometry—and the verification of IUT theory, proposed by Professor Shinichi Mochizuki of Kyoto University's Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences.

The presentation will be live-streamed on YouTube (in Japanese and English) and NicoNico Live (in Japanese only).
