Zealox Inc. Joins the Public-Private DX Women's Empowerment Consortium

Zealox Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), which operates the women-only web design school "Find me!", has joined the Public-Private Partnership DX Women's Empowerment Consortium.

The Public-Private Partnership DX Women's Empowerment Consortium is a new joint public-private project aiming to promote the acquisition of digital skills and employment support for women working in regional areas.

■ Consortium Overview
"Transforming people and companies starting from local regions, turning women's power into the power of the Japanese economy"

In regional areas, there is currently a situation where women cannot fully utilize their inherent abilities. Against the backdrop of a shortage of professional and managerial positions and a high rate of non-regular employment, approximately 3.1 million women (*1) "desire additional labor supply," meaning they want to work but are unable to do so.

Furthermore, wage levels for women remain lower compared to men, and disparities are also seen in career formation opportunities. These issues are leading to a brain drain of human resources to urban areas and the stagnation of regional economies.

On the other hand, regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face the issue of wanting to promote DX (Digital Transformation) but lacking the human resources and know-how, preventing them from taking the step towards transformation.

To address these challenges, this consortium unites companies and experts to comprehensively promote everything from women's digital skill acquisition to employment support. By simultaneously achieving DX support for regional companies and creating opportunities for women to thrive, we will strive to improve corporate productivity and wages, leading to regional revitalization.

Ultimately, through the creation of employment opportunities and the retention of human resources, we aim to realize communities where people "want to continue living" and build a sustainable society centered on women's empowerment.
