Operated by the Certified NPO Yokohama Children's Hospice Project, "Yokohama Children's Hospice: Umi to Sora no Ouchi" opened in Kanazawa-Hakkei, Yokohama, in November 2021. It is a facility that supports "time as a family" for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. As a place that feels like a "second home," it provides children and their families with the time and space to step away from medical treatment and spend time in a way that is true to the child, with peace of mind.

As a company that has connected people and communities through books, we hope to share this initiative with as many people as possible as part of our regional contribution efforts. Through the daily touchpoint of our storefronts, we will broaden understanding of the "Children's Hospice" and foster a circle of support.

All funds collected will be donated to the "Certified NPO Yokohama Children's Hospice Project" and will be used to enrich the children's experiential opportunities and improve facility environments. Additionally, some stores plan to feature related books, creating opportunities to deepen interest in the facility and its activities alongside the fundraising.

Furthermore, in conjunction with "Children's Hospice Week" from April 28, 2026 (Tuesday) to May 5, 2026 (Tuesday), Yurindo's Isezakicho Main Store, Yokohama Station West Exit Joinus Store, and Tama Plaza Terrace Store will hold panel exhibitions and related book fairs. Original book covers will also be distributed at all 38 participating stores.
