Supporting the Certified NPO Yokohama Children's Hospice Project 'Yokohama Children's Hospice ~Umi to Sora no Ouchi' - In-Store Fundraising Begins

The 'Yokohama Children's Hospice ~Umi to Sora no Ouchi,' operated by the Certified NPO Yokohama Children's Hospice Project, opened in Kanazawa-Hakkei, Yokohama, in November 2021. It is a facility that supports 'time as a family' for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. It serves as a 'second home,' providing a place and time where children and their families can feel safe and be themselves, away from the treatment environment. As a company that connects people and communities through books, we wish to spread awareness of this initiative as part of our community contribution efforts. Through the everyday touchpoint of our store counters, we aim to broaden understanding of the 'Children's Hospice' and foster a circle of support. All donations received will be fully contributed to the 'Certified NPO Yokohama Children's Hospice Project' and will be used to enhance children's experiential opportunities and improve the facility environment. Additionally, some stores will feature related books, providing opportunities to deepen interest in the facility and its activities beyond monetary donations. Furthermore, in conjunction with 'Children's Hospice Week' from Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Yurindo Ise-Saki-cho Main Store, Yurindo Yokohama Station West Exit JOINUS Store, and Yurindo Tama Plaza Terrace Store will host panel exhibitions and related book fairs.
