Learn the Secrets of Black Thunder with Parents and Children! Special Summer Vacation Event, Useful for Free Research, to be Held for the First Time!

Yuraku Confectionery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kodaira City, Tokyo, President: Tatsunobu Kawai) will hold a total of four special experiential events titled "Summer Vacation Special Project! Learn the Secrets of Black Thunder's 'Crunchy' Texture with Parents and Children" at "Black Thunder Waku⚡Zaku Factory" (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture), a facility where visitors can tour the Black Thunder factory. These events, targeted at elementary school children and their parents, are designed to be useful for summer vacation free research and will be held from July to August 2026.

This event aims to meet the growing need for "parent-child experiences and learning" during children's summer vacation. At "Waku⚡Zaku Factory," themed around "seeing, learning, and experiencing," a special program enjoyable for parents and children will be implemented.

Not only will participants tour the Black Thunder manufacturing process, but they will also learn in a fun way about the secrets behind its signature "crunchy texture." Through a special program including a factory tour guided by staff, explanations from development employees about their commitment to taste and texture, and tasting of the actual ingredients used, participants can experience the secrets of Black Thunder firsthand.

This program is designed to be both fun and educational for parents and children, and can also be utilized for free research. We encourage you to participate and create summer vacation memories.

1. Factory Tour with Staff Commentary!

Visitors can observe how Black Thunder is made from a viewing corridor along the production line. With special commentary from our staff, you can understand the manufacturing process and its innovations more easily. During the tour, you can ask staff questions about anything that interests you on the spot, allowing you to fully experience the secrets of the Black Thunder factory with your own eyes and ears. We also provide worksheets where parents and children can discuss and record their observations and learnings during the tour.

* In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as machine trouble, it may not be possible to view the inside of the factory.

* Photography and videography inside the factory, visible through the glass from the viewing corridor, are prohibited.

2. Taste Test of Biscuit Ingredients that Create Black Thunder's "Crunchy Texture"!

Development staff will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of Black Thunder's history, development stories, and their commitment to ingredients. In the program, participants can compare the taste and texture of ingredients such as the cocoa cookies and plain biscuits actually used in Black Thunder. Through these experiences, you can learn the secrets of the "crunchy texture" in a fun way.

Worksheets are also provided to help you summarize what you've learned and realized on the spot, allowing parents and children to deepen their understanding through discussion.

This program is also recommended as a learning opportunity for summer vacation, as it can be used for free research. Please come and experience the secrets of Black Thunder's signature "crunchy texture" for yourself.

3. Special Black Thunder Grab Bag Event♪

After learning the secrets of Black Thunder, we will have a special "grab bag" event where you can take home Black Thunder and various other series products. How many you can grab is up to you! It's an experience where parents and children can compete and participate with fun. We hope this will be an opportunity to deepen your free research by comparing the textures of Black Thunder and its series products after returning home.

This is the only facility with a factory tour corridor where you can see the Black Thunder manufacturing process.
