[Held on 4/5] Adults who talk about their dreams nurture the future of children. Announcement of 'Yume Education Forum 2026 in Kitakyushu'

The Japan Dream Education Association (Headquarters: Tokyo) will hold the "Yume Education Forum 2026 in Kitakyushu" on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the Kitakyushu City Gender Equality Center (MOVE).

Under the theme "Adults who talk about their dreams nurture the future of children," this forum aims to create a circular society where adults share their own dreams and support the future of children.

The event will feature a keynote speech by Mr. Tsuyoshi Nishioka, founder of the ramen shop "Ramen-so Yume wo Katare," which has spread the "culture of talking about dreams" nationwide and expanded to Boston, USA. In the second part, participants will engage in panel discussions and workshops to share their dreams with one another.

This forum also serves as the kickoff for the newly established "Fukuoka Dream Education Association," marking the first step in expanding community-based educational support activities with Kitakyushu as a new base of operations.

■ Background of the Event

Since its inception in 2015, the Japan Dream Education Association has conducted "Dream Discovery Programs" at elementary and junior high schools and local events across the country, with over 10,000 children participating to date. This program is certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as part of the "Saturday Learning Support Group" and is utilized in school career education and inquiry-based learning.

What we value is not "teaching dreams," but drawing out the "seeds of excitement" that exist within each child. We are spreading a culture where adults around them acknowledge children when they talk about their dreams with "GOOD," "CLAP," and "SMILE."

This event in Kitakyushu was planned as the first step toward establishing a new association in the Fukuoka area and fostering a "society that supports each other's dreams" together with local adults.
