[Full House!] The 30th Spring Symposium of the Japan Association for Medical Informatics Concluded with Great Success

From June 11-13, 2026, at the 30th Spring Symposium of the Japan Association for Medical Informatics, Symposium 2026 Utsunomiya, held in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, we co-hosted a luncheon seminar on the theme of "What We Should Do Now Aiming for Secondary Use of Medical Information."

The seminar concluded with great success, with a large number of participants, including 121 on-site attendees and 108 online viewers. We extend our deepest gratitude to all stakeholders and participants.

Lecture Content

In this seminar, three important issues in data utilization – "Governance," "Practice and Operations," and "Data Standardization" – were addressed, with speakers presenting from their respective expert perspectives.

Participant Feedback

Following the seminar, many participants from medical institutions and companies provided active questions and opinions regarding the utilization and standardization of medical data. This demonstrated the high level of interest amidst the rapidly increasing importance of secondary use of medical data.

Future Plans: Yuimedi will also participate in the autumn medical informatics conference.

We will have a booth exhibition at the 46th Medical Informatics Congress and the 27th Spring Symposium of the Japan Association for Medical Informatics @ Sapporo, to be held from November 12-15, 2026.
