Aiming to Become a World-Class Foundation through Public Trusts × Long-Term Donations ― Driven by the Long-Term Perspective of Iida City, Nagano Prefecture

This foundation endorses April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day to announce dreams. This press release is the dream of the General Incorporated Foundation Yume Toushi Zaidan.

We will create a world-class foundation from Iida City, Nagano Prefecture, a city with a population of 95,000.

We are a small foundation, established only one year ago.

The world's largest Novo Nordisk Foundation (Denmark) has approximately 27 trillion yen, and the Gates Foundation (USA) has approximately 12 trillion yen.

Their scale is incredibly distant.

Nevertheless, we articulate this dream.

Because articulating it is the first step to climbing together.

The morning in Iida is quiet. About four and a half hours from Tokyo. Iida City, a town in a valley surrounded by the Southern Alps and the Central Alps.

In the morning, when you open the window, you can see the mountain ridges. Trains run once an hour. It's common to drive to a convenience store.

Who would imagine that the headquarters of a world-changing foundation would be in this city?
