2026年7月2日、法務省と吉本興業は渋谷よしもと漫才劇場にて第76回「社会を明るくする運動」強調月間のキックオフイベントを開催。保護司の活動を通じて更生保護の理解を深めることが目的です。
2026年7月2日（木）、渋谷よしもと漫才劇場にて、第76回“社会を明るくする運動”強調月間のキックオフイベントを開催しました。
“社会を明るくする運動”は、犯罪や非行から立ち直ろうとする人を支援する「更生保護」について国民の理解を深め、新たな被害者も加害者も生まない明るい地域社会を築くための全国的な運動です。
法務省と吉本興業は2016年から連携し、様々なプロジェクトを展開しています。本年の“社会を明るくする運動”は、「保護司をはじめとする更生保護ボランティアを広く知ってもらおう」という統一テーマを掲げ、全国で活動を行います。
平口洋 法務大臣、吉川崇 法務省保護局長ほか、ゴリ（ガレッジセール）、藤崎マーケット、ツートライブ、エバースが登壇し、江戸川区保護司会の皆様を交えて更生保護への理解を深めました。実際に活動する保護司を前にゴリは「みなさんの柔らかさが、更生するための心のマッサージみたいな役割をしてくれるのかな」と印象を話しました。また、芸人が保護司に密着取材するYouTube動画「保護司はなぜ必要なのか？」や、ショート動画「この人のこの一言が私を変えた！」などのコラボ企画が発表されました。最後に平口法務大臣が強調月間のスタート宣言を行い、運動の輪を広げる決意を語りました。
今後も吉本興業は、法務省と連携し、“社会を明るくする運動”の理解促進に努めていきます。
