"Kawasaki Racecourse Summer Night Festival 2026" to be Held

Yomiuriland Co., Ltd. will hold the "Kawasaki Racecourse Summer Night Festival 2026" on Monday, August 3rd and Tuesday, August 4th at Kawasaki Racecourse (Kawasaki City, Kawasaki Ward), which it operates. The Summer Night Festival is held as a regular summer event, aiming to foster community interaction and pass on the "matsuri" (festival) culture of Japan, such as bon odori and traditional stalls, to younger generations.

Additionally, on the 3rd, the first "Green Carpet Theater in Kawasaki Racecourse" of fiscal year 2026, an outdoor movie viewing event utilizing the giant Kawasaki Dream Vision, will be held concurrently. This time, "Sumikko Gurashi: The Movie - The Mysterious Land of the Rainbow Clouds" will be screened for free.

Bon Odori

Anyone can enjoy dancing to a wide range of songs, from classic bon odori tunes to J-POP and anime songs. Experienced dancers will provide gentle instruction, so even first-timers can join in with ease.

Dagashiya ROCK Stage Show

"Dagashiya ROCK," which pays homage to nostalgic boyhood, will appear at the Summer Night Festival again this year. They will bring dagashi (traditional Japanese snacks) to the stage and put on a lively performance with the audience.
