Enjoy the Tanabata Starry Sky at Giants Town Stadium: 'G Town Tanabata Stargazing Event'

Tokyo Giants Town Management Company will hold a 'G Town Tanabata Stargazing Event' on Tuesday, July 7, at Giants Town Stadium (G Town, Inagi City, Tokyo), inviting Dr. Hidehiko Agata from the National Astronomical Observatory as a lecturer to observe the Tanabata night sky.

The highlight of this stargazing event is the 'Summer Triangle' that spreads across the Tanabata night. Under Dr. Agata's commentary, participants can lie down on the spacious outfield and enjoy observing the Summer Triangle connecting Vega (Orihime), Altair (Hikoboshi), and Deneb. In addition, using telescopes, they will observe the evening star Venus as well as star clusters and double stars invisible to the naked eye. Associate Professor, National Astronomical Observatory / Associate Professor, SOKENDAI (Graduate University for Advanced Studies), Ph.D. in Education. Author of many publications including 'Astronomy That Makes You Sleepless from Interest' (PHP Publishing) and 'The Little Prince's Astronomy Notebook' (Kawade Shobo Shinsha). Currently appearing on NHK Radio 'Shin'ya Bin' and NHK High School Course 'Basic Earth Science'.

・No food or drink allowed on the field. Only water can be brought and consumed.
・Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. High heels are not allowed on the field.
・Please take measures to prevent heatstroke, such as wearing a hat and staying hydrated.
