## Background of Development
bixid covers basic management support functions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ranging from trial balances to business plans and analytical reports. However, as companies scale to mid-sized or larger, the increase in management documents and daily transactions necessitates the construction of a high-end management system and additional supporting systems.
To address this, bixid has released a Custom Plan, allowing companies to custom-add general enterprise-oriented additional features (units) tailored to their specific conditions.
In this release, two types of additional features (units) are available:
- team input unit for Google Sheets
*Data input function from spreadsheets to bixid
- free style output for Microsoft Excel
*Data output function from bixid to Excel
In mid-sized and larger organizations, as the specialization and scale of corporate activities grow, specialized management materials based on proprietary calculations are created and managed company-wide or by department. These are often created and managed using spreadsheet software. We developed these features to reduce management workloads by directly linking bixid with each spreadsheet application.
*Currently, it only supports input or output for each spreadsheet application, but we plan to enable bidirectional data exchange for both software in the future.
---
## Use Cases
Data Input to bixid
In business planning, numerical plans such as sales targets are designed using complex calculation formulas within materials managed by each department. Personnel in each department can now upload these figures directly from their foundational spreadsheet software to bixid. Once the uploaded figures are reviewed and applied by the plan administrator, an operational structure is established where specialized frontline figures are designed by departmental staff, while indirect overhead costs are managed by the plan administrator. For daily KPIs, the responsible staff can also upload data directly from spreadsheets, allowing managers to unify management within bixid.
With this plan, general enterprises can now select and expand features according to their own management systems and operational status.
