Toshinori Nishi, an 'Adult Dream-Sharing Guide' based in Shiga Prefecture, is launching the '3,695-Person Dream-Sharing Project' nationwide starting in September 2025. Based on the belief that 'the sight of adults sharing their dreams changes the future for children,' he has conducted career education classes at 11 elementary schools in Shiga and Kyoto since beginning his activities in 2023. Building on the track record of publishing over 340 dream-sharing videos on social media, the project aims to film and distribute the dreams of 3,695 people across the country, reach 24 million social media followers, conduct classes in all 47 prefectures, and revitalize local communities through 'dream time capsules.' It is a mechanism where individual dreams come together to create significant social change.

In September 2025, Japan's first full-scale national 'Adult Dream-Sharing' project began in Shiga Prefecture. The goal is 3,695 people—capturing each individual's dream on video and delivering it to all of Japan via social media.
'When people become adults, they stop talking about their dreams'—this social atmosphere is leading to a shortage of role models for children. In career education settings across Japan, there are frequent reports that children are unable to envision their own futures. Furthermore, the depopulation of rural areas and the decline in regional vitality are serious issues. We are convinced that adults having and expressing their own dreams is the greatest gift we can give to the next generation.
Adult Dream-Sharing Guide Toshinori Nishi serves as the fourth-generation owner of his family's hair salon while also working as a rhythm trainer and a 'mental diet' advisor. He began filming dream-sharing videos in his home prefecture of Shiga in May 2023, reaching 100 people by December 2024, and has been publishing these videos on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Since January 2025, he has conducted career education classes at 11 elementary schools in Shiga and Kyoto (including Seta-Minami, Seta-Kita, Ishiyama, Kitano, Kirihara, Kawase, Konan-Dai-San, Tanakami, Azuchi, and Kamo Elementary Schools). He has also served as an instructor for adults in the Shiga Prefecture Omi Future Academy sub-course.
The '3,695-Person Dream-Sharing Project,' which started in September 2025, is built on five pillars: (1) Filming and distributing the dream-sharing videos of 3,695 people nationwide via social media; (2) Achieving 24 million social media followers; (3) Conducting dream-sharing classes in all 47 prefectures; (4) Regional revitalization through dream time capsules and dream-sharing; and (5) A mechanism where small acts of support create large-scale encouragement. The number 369 embodies the concept of a 'Miroku world—a peaceful world without conflict,' while the number 5 represents the 'connections that link dreams to dreams.' The number 3695 signifies leaving a better future for Japan's children through these 'Miroku' connections. Every individual's small support sustains this project.
If a culture where adults share their dreams takes root, the number of role models living for the future will increase before children's eyes. This expands their own possibilities and restores vitality to local communities. 'Dream-sharing' is not about self-improvement or showing off; it is a baton passed to the next generation. We will take this movement that began in Shiga to all 47 prefectures and eventually the world. We will bring someone's dream-sharing to life.
