Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division "Sustainable Prosperity of Regions" - FY2025 Annual Activity Report "YEG Common ~Connecting Hearts, Creating New Future Economic Value~"

The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division (Japan YEG), under the FY2025 slogan "YEG Common ~Connecting Hearts, Creating New Future Economic Value~," has developed diverse initiatives aimed at the "Sustainable Prosperity of Regions", leveraging its network of 417 locations nationwide.

Amidst the backdrop of declining population and intensifying regional challenges, young entrepreneurs across the nation collaborated to promote practical initiatives for the future.

■ Strengthening the National Network and Fostering Leaders

The "National Presidents' Conference" was held, bringing together presidents of 417 YEG organizations nationwide and prefectural federations to discuss the future of regions and the mission of young entrepreneurs. This initiative aimed to enhance leadership qualities and strengthen networks for the next generation of leaders.

■ Creating New Economic Value (Building the YEG Economic Sphere)

To accelerate business creation among members, the "Business Exchange Plaza" was revamped to offer free PR and business matching services.

Furthermore, the "YEG Study Group" was held online throughout the year for all YEG members, facilitating problem-solving, learning, and network building for management challenges.

■ Innovation through the Fusion of Digital and Real (National Convention)

The 45th National Convention (Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture) implemented a new convention model utilizing the metaverse (Fortnite).

This initiative fused online and real-world experiences, creating a participation environment unbound by location. It fostered next-generation exchange models, including esports tournaments and regional promotion within virtual spaces.

■ International Business Creation and Cooperation (MOU Signing)

Leveraging the Osaka-Kansai Expo as an opportunity, an exchange event was held with executives from youth economic organizations from 22 countries, involving approximately 70 participants.

Additionally, at the National Convention (Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) on friendly cooperation were newly signed with youth economic organizations from five Asian countries.

The signatory countries are:

・Brunei
・Laos
・Myanmar
・Singapore
・Malaysia

Through these agreements, Japan YEG will further expand its international network and develop concrete economic collaborations, including international business matching, mutual exchange among young entrepreneurs, and joint projects.

■ Challenge Towards a Sustainable Society

Under the "Sustainability Declaration" aimed at realizing a sustainable society, Japan YEG promotes SDGs, gender equality, and regional circular economies.

By providing information and fostering awareness that YEG members nationwide can implement in their own companies, Japan YEG has contributed to building sustainable regional economies.

In FY2025, a total of 12 press releases were distributed through PR TIMES throughout the year.
