 Yayoi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President, Executive Officer & CEO: Kenichiro Muto; hereinafter "Yayoi") announced today that it has begun standalone provision of its cloud-based attendance management system, "Yayoi Kintai Next." Previously, "Yayoi Kintai Next" was offered in conjunction with the cloud payroll service "Yayoi Kyuyo Next," but with this standalone offering, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that only wish to implement attendance management will have more flexible options.

Background of the Offering

 Previously, "Yayoi Kintai Next" was offered to customers who had a contract for the cloud payroll service "Yayoi Kyuyo Next." However, in attendance management for Japanese SMEs, not only is a lot of time spent on tabulation work in Excel, but daily application methods are scattered across paper, LINE, oral communication, etc., leading to a struggle with collection, reminders, and transcription, making monthly closing tasks a significant burden. There are also structural problems where errors are prone to occur due to the concentration of tasks at the end of the month, such as missed clock-ins, clock-in corrections, break acquisition status, and discrepancies with shifts. Furthermore, responding to increasingly complex labor-related laws and regulations, such as managing overtime limits, mandatory paid leave granting and acquisition, Article 36 agreements, and flexible work settlement, requires a high level of understanding, and many companies are uneasy about compliance. In particular, the Labor Standards Act, scheduled for revision from 2026, has added strict restrictions that are easily overlooked by conventional management methods, such as "prohibition of continuous work for 14 days or more" and "securing intervals between work hours." Continuing to deal with such complex legal revisions manually is almost at its limit.

  On the other hand, digitalizing the entire payroll system comes with high cost barriers, and there is a demand to "start with digitalizing attendance management first." Taking into account these challenges and needs of SMEs, we have decided to start selling the standalone version to help more SMEs begin digitalizing their attendance management.

About "Yayoi Kintai Next"

It is a cloud-based attendance management system that can flexibly adapt to a company's employment regulations and enables smooth management.

<Main Features>

●Flexible enough to fit the workplace, despite being multi-functional

Supports project-based man-hour management and various employment types such as full-time employees, part-time employees, and flextime workers.
Companies that had given up, thinking "it can't be used with our company's work rules," can now introduce it without significantly changing their existing operations.

●Intuitive operability that anyone can use without hesitation

With a simple screen design that allows intuitive operation from PCs and smartphones, even those unfamiliar with IT tools can use it smoothly. It enables the digitalization of attendance management without causing confusion in the workplace.

●Risk reduction through automatic response to legal revisions and alerts

The system automatically responds to revisions in labor-related laws and regulations. "Restrictions on continuous work" and "overtime limit management under Article 36 agreements" revised in 2026 are also judged in real-time. By sending automatic alerts to employees and managers who are likely to exceed the standards, it prevents legal violations.

●Mechanism to support "self-management"

Employees can check their remaining paid leave days and overtime status in real-time from their smartphones.
This reduces inquiries to general affairs and management departments and supports employees' autonomous work styles.

●Clock-in methods that support diverse work styles

Various clock-in methods can be selected to suit the workplace, such as PCs, smartphones, shared tablets, and IC cards.
It enables accurate attendance management even for telework and off-site work.
