Announcement of Expansion of Pharmaceutical GMP Service Bases

Yasuda Soko Co., Ltd. (President: Kazunari Ogawa, hereinafter "the Company") has newly acquired licenses for pharmaceutical manufacturing (packaging, labeling, storage) at two of its domestic group bases (Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, and Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture).

The Company group has traditionally provided pharmaceutical GMP (Note 1) services at Yasuda Soko Kyushu Sales Office and Yasuda Logipharma Atsugi Center / Yasuda Logipharma Atsugi Kanda Center. With this new license acquisition, we will strengthen our GMP system to respond to a wider range of regions and diverse needs. This will further enhance our one-stop service provision system, including manufacturing (GMP) areas, in addition to sales logistics (shipping operations for wholesalers and agencies) for pharmaceutical manufacturers, contributing to the optimization of the pharmaceutical supply chain.

■ Purpose of Service Enhancement
In recent years, in the pharmaceutical logistics industry, there has been a growing need for outsourcing not only product sales logistics compliant with GDP (Note 2) guidelines, but also storage and management of manufacturing inventory (pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, etc.). Manufacturing inventory requires strict management based on GMP ordinances, necessitating the securing of facilities and personnel, and対応 to a wide range of items. Furthermore, due to the difficulty of acquiring and maintaining licenses, and securing personnel including pharmacists, it is often difficult to find suitable services.
