Yappli Supports Development of "FANUC UNION" App for Fanuc Labor Union Members

Background and Objectives for Introducing UNITE by Yappli

Fanuc Labor Union previously disseminated information through its internal portal. However, a challenge arose regarding "information transmission disparity," where information struggled to reach union members, particularly factory workers, who were not provided with PCs. Furthermore, information could only be viewed from company PCs, creating limitations such as the inability to share information about benefits with family at home and only being able to check activity details during limited times like breaks.

Additionally, the use of Google Forms and QR codes for surveys and event applications led to a consistently high workload for the administrative office in terms of data aggregation.

With the introduction of this app, accessibility will be significantly improved by establishing an environment that allows access "anytime, anywhere." The push notification function will be utilized to deliver important information such as spring labor offensive updates in real-time, and the digitalization of various procedures will achieve DX (Digital Transformation) in the administrative office's operations.

This enables information to be utilized while sharing it with family after returning home, thereby enhancing engagement for both union members and their families.
