Yamaha Music Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "the Company") will collaborate with "Sound! Euphonium The Final Chapter" (Part 1) (to be released on April 26, 2026) by displaying life-sized standees of the protagonist, Kumiko Oumae, and conducting a campaign targeting those starting new instruments. This project will be rolled out at the Company's directly managed stores nationwide and approximately 200 affiliated instrument stores.
"Sound! Euphonium" is an animation series based on Ayano Takeda's novel series. It has gained popularity for its story development depicting common brass band experiences and Kyoto Animation's highly realistic and detailed portrayal of instruments and performances.
The Company has been collaborating with the series since its TV broadcast began in 2015, holding exhibitions and events. In this project, we will expand the number of participating stores from previous initiatives to convey the charm of "Sound! Euphonium" and the joy of brass band music to even more people.

The "Sound! Euphonium" series, which has depicted the youth of high school students dedicated to brass band for 10 years, will finally conclude with its "Final Chapter" appearing in theaters in 2026, following the emotional finale of "Sound! Euphonium 3" broadcast in 2024.
The "Final Chapter" will be directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, who has led Kyoto Animation's production team for 10 years, as general director, and Taichi Ogawa, who has co-led the series, as director.
In addition to the brushed-up main cuts by Kyoto Animation, Reiko Yoshida has newly written the scenario, and numerous new scenes have been added. The staff will work together to deliver a theatrical work worthy of the name "Final Chapter," including performance scenes not depicted in the TV series.
