Yamaha Music Japan Co., Ltd. (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will launch the 'nanoNXAMP4' and 'nanoNXAMP4-D,' new powered digital TD controllers under the NEXO brand, in late June 2026. These ultra-compact units integrate 4-channel amplification and processing functions, designed for commercial spaces and corporate office environments.
NEXO Powered Digital TD Controller 'nanoNXAMP4' ※The 'nanoNXAMP4-D' has the same外观
The newly released 'nanoNXAMP4' and 'nanoNXAMP4-D' are powered digital TD controllers designed for commercial and enterprise applications, featuring a compact half-rack, 1U chassis equipped with 4-channel amplification, signal processing, and network connectivity. When paired with NEXO point-source speakers such as the 'ID Series' and 'ePS Series,' they enable high-quality audio systems that deliver excellent performance in terms of both installation space and cost efficiency. The units deliver 250W × 4 output via low-distortion, highly reliable Class D amplifiers, and employ FIR filters for precise system EQ and linear-phase compatibility. Additionally, with the optional wall-mounted PoE controller, users can select audio sources and adjust volume levels. Setup and remote control are made intuitive through a browser-based GUI accessible over the network, allowing easy manipulation of various parameters.
The 'nanoNXAMP4-D' is a model with the same core specifications as the 'nanoNXAMP4,' but compatible with the Dante audio networking protocol.

Main Features
1. High-Fidelity Sound Inherited from NEXO's Premium Models
Despite its compact half-rack width and 1U form factor, the unit delivers 250W × 4 output through low-distortion, high-reliability Class D amplifiers. It offers the same acclaimed sound quality and characteristics as the higher-end 'NXAMPMK2' model. FIR filters are used for processing, enabling accurate system EQ and linear-phase compatibility. When used with NEXO speakers such as the 'ID Series' and 'ePS Series,' carefully selected dedicated presets are available.

2. Exceptional Flexibility and High Expandability
Equipped with four balanced/unbalanced analog inputs, the system allows easy configuration of multi-input setups without an external mixer. Balanced inputs support dynamic microphones and professional-grade mixers, while unbalanced inputs are ideal for connecting Bluetooth® receivers, audio devices, and PC audio outputs. The unit also features ducking and priority functions, automatically lowering background music volume during microphone use. SPDIF input/output on the rear panel enables digital audio input and allows stereo signals to be easily shared between multiple 'nanoNXAMP4' units. For example, the first 'nanoNXAMP4-D' (Dante-enabled version) can serve as an input matrix connected to various audio sources, and through SPDIF In/Out daisy-chaining, a fully digital stereo mix can be shared across multiple 'nanoNXAMP4' units, maintaining a complete digital signal chain. Furthermore, GPIO ports enable integration with external devices such as analog volume controls and 12V trigger I/O. The unit also supports 'NeMo,' NEXO’s remote control and monitoring tool for networked powered TD controllers, as well as industry-standard third-party remote control protocols.
3. Easy Operation from PC or Smartphone Without Dedicated Software
Built-in mixer and matrix functions help further reduce system setup costs for small-scale installations. Setup and remote control can be easily performed via an embedded web page (browser-based GUI) accessible over Ethernet or Wi-Fi. A wide range of parameters—including inputs, zone management, output routing, NEXO speaker processing presets, delay, and system information—can be intuitively adjusted. Additionally, with the optional wall-mounted remote controller, users can select audio sources and adjust volume.
4. Space-Saving and Energy-Efficient Design
The half-rack width, 1U compact design achieves high channel density. The built-in DSP features a 4-in/4-out architecture and optionally supports Dante connectivity. By eliminating the need for external processors, it enables significant space savings compared to traditional NEXO amplifier solutions, while also reducing costs and simplifying cabling.
