Yamaha Corporation will launch new professional audio equipment in June 2026. The new products include the DXR mk3 series of powered speakers and DXS mk3 series of powered subwoofers, along with the passive CXR mk3 series speaker systems and CXS mk3 series subwoofers, suitable for a wide range of live and event applications. The DXR mk3 series, an upgrade from the DXR mk2 series, offers enhanced acoustic performance, functionality, and output. It includes three models: DXR15 mk3, DXR12 mk3, and DXR10 mk3. Key features include Yamaha-made high-durability LF/HF speaker units, large-diameter horns for wide frequency directivity, optimized port positions to reduce standing waves and achieve smoother low-frequency characteristics, a highly visible and easy-to-operate LCD panel, and a high-performance DSP for clear sound with low distortion. The CXR mk3 series, also new, consists of three passive speaker models with the same speaker units and enclosures as the DXR mk3 series. The DXS mk3 series are powered subwoofers optimized for combination with the DXR mk3 series. The CXS mk3 series are passive subwoofers. All mk3 series models feature durable speaker units and scratch-resistant, durable enclosures, each with three models. All products are scheduled for release in June 2026 at an open price.
