This collection commemorates the 100th anniversary of the revolutionary lighting design, 'System PH.' About System PH In 1926, designer, architect, and cultural critic Poul Henningsen (1894–1967) developed the iconic '3-shade system.' This innovative design system, later known as 'System PH,' is based on meticulously calculated shade configurations, ideal angles, and a rational form. This design philosophy, which shields against bulb glare and delivers high-quality light where needed, continues to be at the core of Louis Poulsen's lighting design.
