▍Supporting the 15-year-old BMX World Champion from the Local Community
On March 19, Yagi Construction Co., Ltd. (Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture, CEO: Masayuki Yagi), a general construction company, presented its second year of activity support funds to Mana Sawada, a third-year junior high school student from the area who has won the BMX Racing World Championship a total of four times.
Additionally, on March 2, the company's CEO, Mr. Yagi, donated 330 ceremonial chairs to his alma mater, Honjo Municipal Higashi Junior High School.
*BMX racing, the sport Sawada engages in, is a grueling competition where cyclists race on a course full of undulations.
In our more than 70-year history, we have strived to not only construct buildings but also to 'create an environment where people can grow.' We believe that supporting the growth of the children who will lead the next generation is the first step for a local general contractor to undertake in 'sustainable community building,' and we continue to give back to the community.
