▍Supporting a 15-Year-Old BMX World Champion from the Community

Yagi Construction Co., Ltd. (Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Masayuki Yagi), a general construction firm, presented its second year of activity support funds on March 19 to local native Mana Sawada (a 3rd-year junior high school student), who has won the BMX Racing World Championships a total of four times.

Additionally, on March 2, the company donated 330 ceremonial chairs to Honjo Municipal Honjo Higashi Junior High School, the alma mater of President Yagi.

*BMX Racing, the sport Sawada competes in, is a grueling discipline where riders race for speed on courses filled with obstacles and undulations.

Throughout our history of over 70 years, we have worked not only on buildings but also on "creating environments where people can grow." We believe that supporting the growth of children who will lead the next generation is the first step in the "sustainable urban development" expected of a local general contractor, and we remain committed to giving back to the community.
