XRSPACE Holds First Workshop for AI Avatar Developers in Tokyo - Accelerating Japanese AI Builder Community Formation Ahead of August 8 "Perxona Hackathon"

XRSPACE CO., LTD (Headquarters: Taipei, Taiwan, hereinafter XRSPACE) held the AI avatar developer workshop "Build Your Own AI Avatar – Tokyo Builder Workshop" on June 24, 2026, at Startup Island Taiwan - Tokyo Hub in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo. Builders and developers interested in AI avatar and AI agent development gathered, marking the full-scale launch of community formation for the "Perxona Hackathon" scheduled for August 8.

Hands-on Workshop to "See, Talk, and Design" AI Avatars

This event was a workshop targeted at builders, creators, and product makers interested in AI-assisted development, Vibe Coding, AI agents, and avatar interfaces. In an environment that allowed for deep interaction and experience for each participant, the workshop introduced the mechanisms and potential applications of Perxona AI avatars, fostering lively discussions about the avatar experience as the "next AI interface after chatbots."

Participants discussed AI avatars not just as an extension of chatbots, but as a new interface applicable in a wide range of scenarios such as branding, tourism, retail, hospitality, and events, exploring the experiences that could be generated in their respective use cases.

It also served as a place for builders utilizing AI support tools like Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, and v0 to foster ideas for future AI avatar development.

Second Workshop Scheduled for July 22 Ahead of "Perxona Hackathon"

Following the previous workshop, XRSPACE plans to hold a second workshop on July 22, 2026. Applications are widely open to builders, developers, and creators interested in AI avatar development.
