NAMJATOWN (Nanjan Town), an indoor theme park in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, planned and produced by Bandai Namco Experience Inc., will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Monday, July 6, 2026.

The 30th-anniversary key visual, unveiled on Friday, June 19, centers around the theme of 'festival.' It features the cabinet of the world's largest 'Taiko no Tatsujin' attraction, 'Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Dekkai O-Matsuri da Don,' set to launch on July 6, characters Mametchi and Kuchipatchi from the Nintendo Switch™ game 'Tamagotchi Puchi Puchi Omisechi: Omachido~sama!' which will host a collaboration event starting July 20 (Monday, holiday), and legendary monster fish from NAMJATOWN’s popular attraction 'Najavu no Bakatsuri Spirits,' all coming together to kick off the 30th-anniversary year with a festive celebration.

Additional details have also been released, including the interior design of the 'Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Dekkai O-Matsuri da Don' zone and its food and dessert offerings. The attraction area will feature five massive taiko drums arranged around a central festival tower (yagura), symbolizing NAMJATOWN’s festive spirit. Alongside a wide range of food and desserts, original merchandise such as egg-shaped wagashi (tamago bo-ryo) and acrylic keychains themed around the attraction will also be sold.

On the anniversary day, July 6, 2026, a 30th-anniversary commemorative ceremony will be held at the Sunshine City Fountain Plaza. The event will be divided into two parts: a morning session for media and industry guests, and an afternoon session open to the general public. The actual cabinet of 'Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Dekkai O-Matsuri da Don' will be unveiled for the first time, and special guests including Don-chan and other celebratory characters will appear.

Attraction Overview

'Don to Dekkai O-Matsuri da Don' is the world’s largest 'Taiko no Tatsujin' attraction, where up to two players per unit can strike a massive drumhead with drumsticks. Each drum has a diameter of approximately 180 cm. Five giant drums will be arranged in a circle, creating an immersive festival atmosphere. Panels featuring characters from the 'Taiko no Tatsujin' series, including Don-chan and Kacchan, will be displayed, enhancing the festive vibe. This new attraction will be a highlight of the 30th-anniversary celebration.

All five drums are synchronized, allowing up to 10 guests to play simultaneously, with songs randomly selected for each session. Experience a unique 'Taiko no Tatsujin' gameplay available only at NAMJATOWN.

On July 6, due to the anniversary ceremony, general guests can use the attraction starting at 5:00 PM.
