[AI Videos Turn into 'Family Smiles'] Japan Single Mother Support Association Joins as Charity Partner.

## ~ Creating a chain of compassion through AI to approach the experience gap and isolated eating problems in single-mother households ~

The Japan Single Mother Support Association (Location: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Michiko Enari), which provides independence support for single mothers, will collaborate as a charity partner with the 'Japan AI Creative Contest (hereinafter JACC)' operated by FTG Company (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Makoto Morikawa) to hold the 'Mother's Day AI Contest' starting Friday, April 10, 2026.

This contest is a participatory charity project that widely recruits 'Thank you videos for mothers' utilizing generative AI. Based on the number of applications, single-mother families working hard every day will be invited to dine at 'Osaka Yakiniku Horumon Futago' or receive a Yakiniku set sent to their homes. Through a platform of new expression utilizing technology, it provides warm family bonding time for parents and children of single-parent households.

## ■ Background of the Event: The Social Issues to Approach and the Warm Use of AI

**Creating a chain of compassion by combining 'Exciting Technology' and 'Warm Dining Experiences'**

Under the slogans of 'Cultivating the ability to earn money' and 'Turning "cannot do" into "can do"', our association aims for a society where single mothers can become mentally and economically independent. However, looking at modern Japanese society, there are many single-mother households struggling alone with daily work and childcare, finding it difficult to have mental, economic, and time margins. Even on 'Mother's Day', which should inherently be a time for families to express gratitude to each other, the 'experience gap' making it difficult to afford eating out to celebrate, and 'isolated eating' where parents and children cannot slowly gather around the dining table, have become serious social issues.

Our association is cooperating with a unique approach to this issue through the 'Japan AI Creative Contest (JACC)', a new expression platform operated by FTG Company.

In recent years, AI is often discussed in the context of business efficiency, but FTG Company has redefined AI as 'a warm tool to shape gratitude to those close to you and create someone's smile.' Leveraging the insights from the previously held and highly acclaimed '#AI Cat Day Nyan Nyan Nyan Championship', they aim to build an ecosystem where anyone, professional or amateur, can participate in social contributions through AI creatives.

In this project, the very number of somewhat comical 'Thank you videos for Mom' produced by creators and families using AI directly links to real-world support: 'Inviting single-mother families to a Yakiniku lunch at Futago'.

We agreed with FTG Company's desire to deliver a smiling Mother's Day to as many parents and children as possible by creating a chain of compassion—converting the 'digital excitement' of cutting-edge AI creatives into the 'analog, warm family bonding time' of Yakiniku—and thus decided to participate as a charity partner.
